Emilia Zubia is a bilingual Multimedia Journalism student with a minor in Marketing at University of Texas at El Paso. Even though born in El Paso, Texas, Zubia spent 8 years living in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico before moving back to El Paso to finish her education. She has published her short story “The Long Way Home” at the Chrysalis 2016 for EPCC, Minero Magazine Fall 2020 Issue and Borderzine.com. Emilia continues to her studies while working as a writer with Minero Magazine, a Video Administrator with MonsterLink Marketing, a On-Camera Influencer with UTEP, and a reporter  and Lead Weather Anchor for All In El Paso Network. Zubia plans to become a broadcasting journalist.
